we're back in business, after the repairs i believe the boat planes faster and at lower rpm's. She stayed on plane even at 3300-3400 rpm's which i dont think i could do before. The props where tuned so i'm wondering if that helped? well let's hope for a great summer now.

Havana Shamrock ran aground on Sat May,31. heading to home port on the south shore of long Island , Just outside Gilgo Beach I was just on the north side of the "G" 35 bouy , apparently it's very common there because Havana barely came to a stop when i spotted the tow boat headed right for us. We where able to limp home to avoid any further damage i took it slow. She was haule dout on thursday and discovered that both props are bent and sent to be straightened .Both shafts are to be x rayed for cracks were supposed to be back on the water in a week. lesson learned!!
